Team Pat The Roc combines competitive AAU basketball with the player-development foundation of Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy. Our tryout is a 90-minute basketball training and evaluation session designed to help our coaches understand each player’s game and determine the team environment where they can best compete, contribute, and grow.

1st Grade – 3rd Grade Boys 12pm-1:30pm
4th Grade – 5th Grade Boys 1:30pm-3:00pm
6th Grade – 10th Grade Boys 3pm-4:30pm

Register For Fall Tryouts
90 Minutes On The Court
This is more than a quick tryout. Players will spend 90 minutes on the court with Team Pat The Roc coaches participating in skill development, competitive drills, small-group play, and live game situations.
Coaches will evaluate:

Ball handling, passing, shooting, defense, movement, and fundamentals.

Fall Team Pat The Roc players receive access to unlimited Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy group training throughout the Fall AAU season.
Team Pat The Roc was built around a simple belief: players should get better throughout the season, not just play more games.
Our program combines competitive team basketball with the skill-development foundation of Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy. Players are challenged to improve their fundamentals, basketball IQ, confidence, accountability, and ability to contribute to a team.

Team Pat The Roc families receive clear guidance around player development, playing opportunities, attendance, communication, sportsmanship, parent expectations, and team culture so players, parents, and coaches can begin the season on the same page.
What Happens After Tryouts?
Following evaluations, our coaching staff will determine the team environment and competitive level that best fits each player’s current development.
Families will then receive their player’s Team Pat The Roc team placement and Fall season registration information.
